Claude KYC refund policy: account bans and service outages

Read about account restrictions after Persona verification, when a refund can be requested, and what to include in your request.

This service accepts Persona inquiry links through a web form or API. Both methods use verification attempts from the same key. This policy explains when a service outage qualifies for a refund request and why an account restriction after a completed Claude identity verification does not.

Why might a Claude account be banned after KYC verification?

A completed Persona verification addresses the identity-check step; the platform continues to make its own decisions about account status. We cannot determine the specific reason for any individual restriction. The verification process may be a factor, as may the account's history, age, login locations, and network environment. A restriction after verification alone does not establish which factor caused it.

Each verification task runs in an isolated browser session to avoid linking accounts. We use clean IPs and network resources matched to the selected region. A newly created account without a stable usage history, or an account that frequently changes countries and networks, may draw additional scrutiny. For Claude KYC or Persona identity verification, choose a region consistent with the country and network you have actually used for the longest time, and avoid frequent cross-country changes afterward. These steps keep the verification environment consistent; the platform still determines the account's later status.

If Claude KYC / Persona verification has been completed and the account is later restricted or banned by the platform, that situation is not eligible for a refund. The account's later status is outside the scope of this verification service.

When can I request a refund?

If a failure of our verification service or server makes the verification service unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours, you may contact us to request a refund. A platform account ban is not an outage of our service.

How do I request a refund?

Email us through the contact page and include:

  1. Your contact email address;
  2. A screenshot of your payment;
  3. The wallet address you used to make the payment.

Refunds are returned only to the original paying wallet address. You cannot designate a different wallet to receive the refund.
